This document replaces The Ontario Curriculum, French as a Second Language: Core French, Grades 4 to 8, 1998 and The Ontario Curriculum, French as a Second Language: Extended French, Grades 4 to 8; French Immersion, Grades 1 to 8, 2001. Beginning in September 2014, all elementary French as a second language (FSL) programs will be based on the expectations outlined in this document.
